One of the main things I see through clinic and through customers at health food stores is lack of blood flow. Whether that be through iron deficiency, a long term unmanaged vegan diet, or lack of circulation, it's prominent in the pale complexions of our society. Females are so prone to iron deficiency due to monthly menstruation but also rising cases of food intolerances causing lack of absorption through the gut lining. Having a good number of iron stores is crucial for optimum health, and a deficiency could lead to severe fatigue, mood disorders, lack of circulation, severe brain fog, and many many more issues. Dong Quai and Yellow Dock are both blood builders, helping to circulate and build up red blood cells while also detoxing out toxins by working on the liver. Astragalus is an immune modulator, helping to increase white blood cells to help with immunity, but also an adaptogen to help balance out the body. Turmeric Root helps with inflammation throughout the body and helps restore inflamed damage to the digestion tract. 

My recommendation: I am a HUGE fan of bone broth for healing iron deficiencies and to heal the gut lining. I add this herbal mix into my bone broth batches and I find the combination works synergistically together to help build my blood back up quickly. 

1-2 tsp per cup. For bone broth mix, make in large batches and adjust dose for the number of days.

Without bone broth, 1-2tsp per cup, decoct herbs for 20min-1hour (longer the better) to extract the medicine out from the tough roots.
