Candace Owens - Taurus Season
Candace Owens Astrology Chart Reading
Ahh Candace, the perfect controversial Taurus figure to use as a prime example!
How would Taurus be described?
Taurus is the first earth sign of the zodiac. Whereas Aries represents entering head first into the world after being reborn into the womb, Taurus represents the first steps we take grounded to the earth. Finding our feet and attempting to stabilize ourselves so we don't fall over. All perceptions are based in the moment, grounded in reality, and encapsulating all the senses. Notice how a child is always in the now? This is a Taurus.. they move slow and steady through life indulging in what truly gives them pleasure. Because they are so caught up in the current moment--sometimes they miss out on the bigger picture--or yet--understanding the chaos side of life.
A Taurus is a person you would go to in order to get your shit together. They have a natural inkling to understanding money and finances (even though they have a tendency to sometimes overindulge in what brings them pleasure), forcing you to take care of your natural hygiene and appearance, and slowing down to enjoy the sounds of the birds chirp or stopping to smell the roses (a flower that blossoms in most places this time of year and symbolizes this sign).
Where I wouldn't go as far as calling this sign traditional, I would say they have a natural relationship to daily rituals and all things grounded in nature.
There are negative pitfalls of Taurus individuals. In their over-attachment to stability and avoidance of chaos, they may over-attach themselves to material objects. It isn't uncommon for Taurus people to have a materialistic tendency to them and be judgemental of others who don't prioritize that type of lifestyle. Where it isn't as obsessed with routine and order as a Virgo or Capricorn would be, it finds order and stability attractive and safe. Because they are a fixed sign, they can be incredibly stubborn to be told no or to re-anaylze their values. Once they have made up their mind about what their values are, they will rarely budge from them. I've met Taurus folks who have bizarre values with their diet and health regimes that others would argue is not healthy--but these individuals will shut down any criticism of how they choose to take care of themselves.
Remember Taurus is ruled by the bull. Bulls are lazy in nature and naturally move slow and heavy, however, when challenged they will not give up and will continue to charge you until they win. This is a VERY strong Taurus trait. Where with Scorpio (it's opposing sign) you are likely to be cut off and discarded if you cross them, with Taurus you are likely to be confronted and challenged until you either walk away or surrender to them being right)... this sign (unless it's in its more conscious state) rarely apologizes or owns up to its faults.
This sign will more than likely but heads with other fixed signs as they square or oppose this sign. So Leos, Aquariuses, and Scorpios will naturally conflict with each other because they are all fixed and stubborn in their ways of living and being--debates between these signs could literally go on all night.
I could go on and on about Taurus, but I will stop here for times sake.
Candaces Background:
Candace Owens is a journalist and content creator/emerging public figure. She has been incredibly controversial and began gaining public attention around 2019 while hosting the "Candace Owens Show" on PragerU's Youtube channel. PragerU is a republican activist group that regularly goes to American Universities to discuss Republican policies in a more Liberal University environment.
Candace, who used to be a die hard Democrat, began to change her political views when Black Lives Matter started hitting the scene. She began to dive into the corruption and funding behind that organization and began to question the whole narrative altogether. She started speaking out on the origins of Planned Parenthood and its connection to reducing the black population. When 2020 came around and Covid-19 hit, she was one of the first public figures to speak out on her views around vaccines--which eventually sparked her to release a docu-series that deep dives into all sorts of vaccines and their none spoken about injuries.
She later got hired on by the Conservative channel "The Daily Wire", where she continued to speak out against categorizing races, mainstream culture, toxic celebrity culture, LGBTQ ideology, the feminist movement, and later--the Israeli/Palestine conflict. Considering "The Daily Wire" is a Jewish organization, they fired her over her views that Israel should not be bombing innocent civilians and children.
This led her to start her own YouTube channel, owned by solely herself--so that she could speak freely on any topics that arise. Where many people who were not a fan of hers were hoping she would flop, she clearly resonated with many people worldwide as her channel gained millions of viewers within a month and went on to be in the top 3 podcasts on Spotify.
She does not overly speak on her personal history, but will at times, talk about certain stories that are relevant to her broadcast. From what we do know, she was mainly raised by her Grandfather (who she says instilled her conservative-minded values), and grew up around all sorts of addictions in her family system (reason why she speaks out heavily on any sort of drugs). She says she does not drink anymore, has taken up the catholic faith, and is incredibly pro-family as she is on her 4th pregnancy. She has interviewed many controversial figures and has a history of going toe to toe with anybody who tries to misrepresent her words facts by broadcasting live debates to prove her points.
Although her views on basically everything is very public--she still remains to live a very private home life and rarely speaks out on private family matters. She is very protective of her family, children, and husband, and seems to attack anybody who comes close to threatening her family or home.
In recent months, she has created a docu-series that goes into great depth about exposing how the French President of France, Emmanuel Macron, is actually married to a Man and was essentially groomed by his wife Brigitte Macron. This has led to many threatening letters from the President, but no law suit, hinting at the truth behind the exposure.
Another recent docu-series is exposing some of the fraudulent lies between putting away Harvey Weinstein for sexual assult charges. This has led many people into being confused about her values, as she is anti-hollywood and pro-family. At the same time, this started breaking the narrative that she is anti-Jewish, as Harvey Weinstein is heavily involved in the Jewish community.
She has spoken out against the Trump administration over the past couple of months, which has also confused her fans as she was pro-trump just 6 odd months before.
As you can tell, this is a very complex personality with many different contradictory actions and belief systems.
So lets get into why that is:
Candace Owens Astrology Chart Reading:
As we don't have Candaces exact birth time, I cannot do house systems or fully know the moon placement, however, I do fully trust this moon is indeed in Aquarius and around those degrees as this is very much infused in her personality. We also will not know her rising sign. I can however, discuss her planetary placements and alignments and how it comes through in her personality.
Candace is a Taurus sun and (probably) Aquarius moon. Already this is a contradiction and interesting personality. As discussed above, Taurus and Aquarius but heads as they square each other in astrology which causes a conflicting and inner tension. It means her ego (sun) and inner self (moon) are constantly in battle with each other. How this comes out? In a Taurus and Aquarius way. Her ego (which is also conjunct her venus and mistakenly the astroid Griev (which is forgot to take off but will just leave it there) is wanting and acts out Taurus themes. Her Venus is very happy as it's in its home sign and this infuses her essence with heavy Venusian themes. She is wanting and prioritizes themes around beauty, stability, realness, a strong set of values, self love, and relationships. Since I realized her Griev is there as well, this may show up as loss of these things when she over-attaches to that side of herself (however it is hard to understand Griev unless I see it in a house placement). She is heavily focussed on the sobering facts and what you see on the surface.. but as we go deeper..you will see this part of herself battles with her other parts.
Her moon being in Aquarius is VERY different from that of a Venusian/Taurus personality. Aquarius does NOT deal with being in this reality and is not known to be a grounded or stable sign. Aquarius is ruled by Uranus (the rebel and revolutionary planet of chaos and change) and Saturn (the planet of status, hard work, and dedication). Her internal world is much more chaotic than she lets on to the outside world. She has a huge obsession with uncovering the truth, lies, and exposures and really understanding how the world works in a social and intellectual manner. This, in part, because it connects in hard square aspect to Pluto in Scorpio (another fixed sign) (planet of destruction, rebirth, and everything that lies underneath the surface) and which also makes a T-Square with her Sun and Venus in Taurus. Aquarius is known to be the number one sign that can engulf itself in conspiracy theories. It's known as the "mad scientist", someone who connects all the dots of life and can see much further ahead than many others--but struggles to bring their visions and perceptions to those around them. The moon also has to do with the mother. Having a moon in Aquarius could mean that her mother was very touch and go.. chaotic..one min she would show love and the next she would detach. This creates an internal world of disconnect of emotions and also trust issues (especially because it makes square to Pluto who deals with obsessions and fear around trust and intimacy). I wouldn't be surprised to learn that in the past before her marriage, that she has many issues relating to a fear of intimacy which she probably struggled with internally as her Sun conjunct Venus would very much want to be in relationship with another. Where her internal world is always focussing on the dynamics of the world and finding ways to she feels it could do better, her want is to still represent stability and elegance. You can see this on her show, that she has wild viewpoints, but doesn't have the "look" of a classical Aquarian conspiracy theorist, she is always put together in a classy manner and expresses herself (her mercury is in Taurus) in a elegant manner of speech that seems to plow through anybody who tries to battle her viewpoints. More on that later.
Her Moon square Pluto shows an incredibly deep person, who may be overwhelmed with emotions. She likely worked a lot on this during the Saturn transit over her moon--something I believed she may have channelled into her obsessive tendencies to uncover the truth about worldwide corruption. A moon-pluto square often suggests having a mother with the "engulfing mother archetype". Pluto is a planet that is known to be dark, obsessive, scary, controlling, and manipulative. In contact with the moon (mother), is signifies a mother archetype in ones life that kept their child inside of their web.. trying to prevent them from breaking free..and often projecting their own dark trauma onto the child. This isn't always the case, but very often than not this has shown up in 90% of readings I have done with this placement. And for the ones that don't see it (they are sometimes denying it). The relationship with the mother was likely a battlefield of some-kind. There was likely a clash of viewpoints and herself and mother were equally stubborn to change their ways to get along. This creates a deeply psychological impact upon a child that gets carried into adulthood -- and she probably had a hard time with regulating her emotions and controlling her obsessive tendencies. Again this is likely why she gets so obsessed with her theories and does not give up until she can fully dissect every inch of a story (like a true journalist). She speaks on the fact that addictions run rampant in her family, it makes me wonder if those addictions came from her mother or a mother-like figure as Pluto has to do with the underworld of crime, drugs, or sex work.
With Pluto opposing her Sun and Venus, this may also have shown a chaotic home environment between parents. The sun in your chart get represent your father. Here it would show she would be opposite her father. Her father may have also been controlling and manipulative and may also have been involved in things related to the underworld. With this opposing her Venus, there is a dark feminine archetype that lives within her. As we see from her thoughts on feminism, you can tell she has been burned by females in her life--and can see straight through the bullshit (a positive to having a Pluto-Venus placement). This means she understands the dark feminine and what drives a dark feminine--this makes her very perceptive to knowing when females are lying or manipulating. However the negative of this placement can show a chronic distrust of females altogether--and a much more negative outlook on the female archetype. Because her Venus and Pluto are opposing, this shows that it is very hard to integrate her own dark feminine, and she likely projects it onto others around her. Where her analysis of certain females may be accurate, it may also be unnecessary at times and a way to avoid her own shadow. Pluto also represents power in astrology, and her sun opposing it shows how she does not do well being controlled by those in power. She likely has always had power struggles with those in higher authority, from teachers, bosses (Daily Wire), and government (think Emmenual Macron). Because Pluto makes a connection to Venus, this could indicate power struggles in relationships--and projecting faults onto another. She likely goes through huge transformations through her relationships with others. This is something we have seen since her marriage, as she changed from being of protestant faith to Catholicism. And has deeply transformed her values.
Her Chiron in Cancer indicates deep childhood wounding (another point of her chart that indicates that), and primarily wounding from the mother (again). This is something that she is able to heal through being a mother herself, which rings true considering she is on her 4th child and will likely continue to have more. You can tell she is incredibly protective of her children with Chiron in Cancer being conjunct (out of bounds) to Mars. If you trigger her children, you trigger her anger.
Her Mars is opposite Uranus, making her a completely unpredictable person in regards to her impulses and next moves. Where her drive is towards researching and educating herself (in Gemini), she has a strong desire to communicate facts through online outlets (Uranus ruling technology).
A great teacher of mine once told me that where your Saturn is, shows the pathway and journey you must take to master that area so that you can unlock your Jupiter (your offerings). Her Saturn is in Capricorn, so learning to overcome feeling of lack and unworthiness. People with Saturn in Capricorn either grew up in a status family OR with very little (as Saturn is restricting). She likely grew up in a strict and stifling environment (something she says her Grandpa was like). She has spoken out on growing up poor and the struggles that came with overcoming that. She likely channelled that area of her life through her work and career, which has led her to offering her gifts through communications (journalism, writing books, podcasts, ect). As Jupiter has been transitting Gemini over the past year, we have seen her grow to immeasurable popularity as it has been her Jupiter return in that sign. Likely, when Uranus moves into Gemini this summer, we will see major changes and surprises from her.
Her North Node is in the sign of Pisces, which seems very fitting considering her pull towards religion. As she has been tested over the years to let go of control (Virgo) and move towards trusting the process in terms of her career and family life (Pisces). These are pivotal years for her considering the North Node is currently transitting Pisces and will continue to do so for another year and a bit. However, she will need to be careful when the North Node moves into Aquarius -- as it will trigger her Moon, Sun + Venus, Pluto T Square we discussed earlier.
With transitting Uranus moving closer and closer to her natal Mercury, expect surprising news from her around the end of June/beginning of July.
Where some of her pitfalls are, is that contradictory nature between her Taurus Sun and Aquarius Moon. On one hand, she dives head first into conspiracies, but on the other hand, will sometimes miss the bigger picture because of her Taurus stubbornness and attachment to grounded reality. She becomes completely fixated on her own values and belief systems like religion (which is more Taurus), which goes against her Aquarius Moon which likes to explore the idea of other realities, aliens, and esotericism. She indeed goes by facts that she researches (even if they are far out, she provides the receipts and evidence), but seems to be unable to look more into the analysis of other spiritual concepts and finds them demonic (which may be something to do with her Pluto opposing Venus..almost a fear against purity).
The most notable points I find about her birth chart, is that it completely explains how she does not let anybody mess around with her emotions or public image. She perfectly encapsulates the Taurus bull archetype. Watch any debate that she is in, and she completely bulldozes over anybody that tries to manipulate her words or tarnish her image. She also doesn't let go (Venus/Pluto contact), once it seems people cross her, she holds onto it in a way that only someone with heavy fixed signs would do. Especially if somebody crosses her value system (since Venus is conjunct her Sun), she will find their deepest vulnerability (Pluto) and expose it from emotional impulse (Moon square Pluto).
I will leave it there, as I could analyze her chart for hours, but then the initial points will be lost to any readers. Perhaps one day I will make another and go into some other aspects. I find her to be an incredibly fascinating individual, that perfectly showcases how a Taurus Sun and Aquarius Moon could show up. The conflicting energies of her nature are incredibly complex, and there is no wonder she has created the following she has because of that.
