Taurus Season -- The Bull is Charging Full Steam Ahead
Welcome folks to another monthly astrology report!
I’ve been a little quiet on the astrology side of things the past few weeks or so, reason being I was in my final weeks of my final semester in my clinical herbalist diploma—so I was crunching hard! But ALL WENT WELL, and I am scheduled to graduate at the end of May:)!
Last month was jam packed (once again) with high intensity energy, chaotic world events, and drastic changes made to what will become an unrecognizable system.
Here are some highlights that stood out to me last month in regards to the astrology: (please note, considering we are in the brink of our election in Canada, this may have more political highlights than most months)
- Putin had an assassination attempt made upon him on the new moon and solar eclipse in Aries. Because of this, expect to see this area highlighted over the next 6 months. There is many talks that the war is coming to an end.
- Something that the astrologer “EarthShine Astrology” pointed out in her Pierre Polivieres astrology chart analysis, was that her reasoning for why Pierre wasn’t so strong in his campaign was that Mercury was retrograde throughout March. His chart is very Mercury dominant, so whenever Mercury goes retrograde, that personally affects him more than others. He also has a strong Venus, which recently went direct on the full moon—which is when we have been seeing him come back strong.
- Maxime Bernier, who has been campaigning on behalf of the PPC party, sort of came out of nowhere with his campaign pushers all over many platforms, and with him going on American podcasts. I found this interesting, so I looked up his chart, and his North Node is in 29 degrees Pisces. Which is getting a lot of highlight right now with transmitting Saturn, North Node, and Venus all hanging out there. However, my senses tell me that this is a last minute cry out before the next chapter (since it’s at 29 degrees)—and therefore, won’t have an affect on this election. Similar to Mark Carneys chart (which is also Pisces heavy), we are leaving that chapter behind.. Pisces is the end.. and we are all about endings this year. We are in a year 9 and the year of the snake. Shedding of the old is taking place which is making way for completely new political figures to emerge.
- Mark Carney got sworn in as prime minster right around the solar eclipse in Libra on April 12th. As Mercury was retrograde during this time and he was sworn in around eclipse energy, that isn’t very lasting — as things were confusing during that time. Some astrologers are on the fence about this.. technically eclipses represent the fall of one king and the rise of the other (which would fare well for Carney), but with Mercury retrograde, any contracts written at that time may not fare well and issues later arise.
- A big theme for when Mars was in Cancer (which represents the home), was the topic of building homes. And the liberals and conservatives came out with home building plans as their focus topic. The liberals releasing their home plan soon after Mars went direct after being retrograde in the end of February
Now lets talk about Taurus!
Taurus is the 2nd sign of the zodiac, the first earth sign, and a fixed sign. A fixed sign represents the peak middle season. Where Aries kicks us off with spring, Taurus stabilizes spring. We start to see spring appearing all around us, spring flowers blossoming, trees budding, and winter clothes officially get put away. Taurus also represents farming and tilling the land in preparation for planting season.
Taurus is ruled by the planet Venus (the planet of beauty, art, sensuality, harmony, love, and finances). Where in Aries season we are (normally)(not this year with the astrology) springing to action, running outside whenever we see sun, and doing some spring cleaning to start the year off anew—in Taurus season, we are simply relaxing into the lovely spring weather. Our actions are more grounded, being in the dirt and preparing our garden beds, redecorating our homes, enjoying a lovely meal outside in the sun with a salad made from the emerging wild edible greens popping up everywhere, or singing to the birds outside (Taurus folks are known for their singing voice). Taurus loves to see the beauty in everything, and they are normally people that are naturally very aesthetic (whether that is their fashion or their homes). Taurus also LOVES food—especially dinner parties. They are most likely that friend that enjoys having company over to wine and dine them, while listening to poetic music. However, their beautiful qualities can also turn negative — when acted out in excess. Because Taurus loves beautiful things, there can be a tendency to overdo it and become materialistic, greedy, gluttonous, and prone to overeating/overdrinking.
Taurus rules the financial system in astrology, in a birth chart, the sign that is placed in the 2nd house (which is ruled by Taurus) can show you how to earn a living as well as your relationship to finances. Taurus individuals are known to strive to be stable, and financial stability is a huge part of that. They love to have or enjoy nice things, and in order to do that, need to be good with organizing their money.
Although Taurus individuals are known for being a stable, and heartwarming person, they are also not people you should look to push around in any way. Taurus is ruled by the bull in astrology. Beautiful, large, and protective creatures —that if—feels threatened in any way, will not hesitate to charge (and they won’t give up). Because they are a fixed sign, this makes them fixed in their levels of comfort, lifestyle, and way of life. This can be the most stubborn sign of the zodiac, and although they are grounded and slow in their approach, this also means their endurance can last longer than many others in not giving up (especially in arguments). Comparing to the other fixed signs, Leo would not give up in a fight, where Aquarius would not give up in a debate, but Taurus will not give up their creature comforts. It’s likely why the two other fixed signs struggle to achieve harmony with each other—as they all are known for their stubborn qualities and are unlikely to budge in certain areas that their sign stands for.
Taurus is also known for fertility. It lands in spring (which is considered the most fertile time in mother nature), around Easter (which is named after the ancient tradition of worshiping the goddess of Ishtar—goddess of fertility). Whenever there could be fertility struggles in a females chart, I would likely look towards their Venus and Moon (and see if they are happy in those areas). As Cancer is the sign that represents pregnancy, I see Taurus as the sign that prepares our fertile soil (literally and figuratively). We are preparing the fertility of the soil in the earth for planting our seeds, and at the same time, preparing our wombs for implantation with nourishing foods, engaging our senses, and enjoying/lavishing in our creature comforts. The symbology of order after Taurus starts with Gemini, where we learn to engage with others and find a partner, in Cancer the partners engage in conception, and in Leo it brings the birth the child. How can you build your fertile soil this month? The energy will be supporting you by bringing a grounding and persistent energy—helping you to manifest what beauty, love, and harmony you want in your life. Try not to fall in the pitfalls of over consuming, and rather, use the word nourish. Nourish your home with art and decor that bring a smile to your face, go thrifting for some cute spring outfits, nourish your body with healthy food and greens, and look into ways where you can bring stability for your finances.
Lets get into the Astrology this month:
First off, I will start off by asking—did you feel the shift?? Because congratulations, you have made it through the most difficult months of the year thus far!! And although the energy will remain and grow to being more intense, there is now at least a forward motion happening. With Mars FINALLY moving into Leo (more about that below), Neptune leaving Pisces and into Aries, Venus moving into Aries on May 1st, and Saturn following suit at the end of May—energy is FINALLY moving forward. There will be no planets in retrograde this month! The past year and especially through the month of March and first few weeks of April has proven to be the most frustrating time period for every.single.one.of.my.clients. It’s not just you, it has been EVERYONE.
We had so many planets retrograde, so many planets lingering in Pisces (which represents endings), and our drive (ruled by Mars) being held up in the sign of Cancer since January (a place that prevents movement for Mars). It has been all about the past, and letting go of the past. But now we are here. We have a major election coming up that will hopefully bring a relief of welcomed change, and we have a huge catapulting movement towards the next AI boom (like it or not). Although these past months have brought tons of doubt, insecurity, lack of purpose, and/or low energy, it was all necessary to bring us to this exact moment. Look back on your life over the past 6 months, think about how much has changed and how much we all grew spiritually. Most of us know what we want, but our drive and judgements have been clouded over by heavy Pisces energy. Now that cloud is dispersing, and we have so much supporting energy that will provide movement and forward action towards what WE want. It’s an opportunity to go after YOUR dreams, to put yourself first, and do what you need to do to achieve what you want to achieve. But this isn’t going to just come easy, you are going to need to WORK for it—otherwise you will burn up in the intense energy if you just stay still. This energy will provide us with LOTS of energy—so find ways to disperse it in productive ways. With Saturn moving into Aries at the end of May, it will ask you to put consistent and dedicated effort into what you are trying to achieve. And it will bring it for you, if you don’t give up. We are being asked to create the identity we want to create.
The tower card, has in a way, already happened. It will continue to fall this year, but simultaneously, it will also be getting rebuilt in the background. What we are seeing as regular every day people, is not the same as what is happening behind the scenes. Behind the scenes, there is being a massive dismantling of decades long corruption which has been manipulating our lives, decisions, trends, and identity. This doesn’t mean this dismantling is happening gracefully, there is battles behind the scenes that we are not even aware of at this time. So to even THINK we know what is fully going on is probably a hubris place to come from. We are seeing the snippets of what they want us to see, but in no way, will we really know until it starts unveiling before us over the next few years. What we do know (which all astrologers agree on), is there is going to be a major change to our financial system and the ways in which countries will do business with each other in the future. And although everyone is panicking, and fear mongering, and coming up with every possible scary future scenario—we should all know that deep down, this destruction is necessary. Of course we should pay attention to what the new system is being built up to be, and to continue holding leaders accountable and voicing our concerns to help steer the boat where it needs to go—but we should also hold a bit of grace for new emerging leaders, because their task is not easy right now and it will likely look worse before it gets better (as with everything in life). But remember this is your opportunity to move towards what YOU want. When a system crumbles the way it is crumbling, it allows those who have been less fortunate or below the poverty line to have more equal footing to those around them. It’s a hierarchal restructuring—where if you plan, focus, and work hard enough during these times, you may be able to place yourself in a better position. In order to do so, you may have to make some sacrifices to get there, like move to a new place, change jobs, downsize, move in with your parents, spend more time working than you’d like—but the sacrifices and changes you make towards your dream at this time WILL be rewarded.
I don’t believe the idea that we are moving towards the land of equality and utopia, I don’t believe that has ever been a thing. I believe there has been times where people were able to live in more harmony because their people were governed well and there was an abundance to go around, but there has ALWAYS been hierarchies in every group scenario. We as humans, as animals, as being a part of mother nature—will always go towards restructuring each other into hierarchal groups. We do this even as children, and from what I have noticed, in many “hippy communes”, when there is an attempt to not have that, things go south very easy and lots of drama ensues. It is natural for there to be leaders and for there to be followers. We see this even within astrology—some charts show a more passive/creative/empathetic person, where another shows someone who is more domineering/tends towards leadership/contains an argumentative personality. We are not all meant to be the same, and as soon as we come to an understanding of that, and understand our place and where we fit—the sooner we can make a coherent plan forward for humanity.
This summary is long winded, but I just want to get the point across that none of us really know what is fully going on.. and that is okay. And that we should trust in spirit that we are going through a major transition that will progress humanity to where we were always meant to go. The year of 2026 has MANY harmonious alignments. The building of the outer planets in the “triad of transformations” that my astrologer friend Martin Comtois loves to say—will finally be in a harmonious aspect. This is why I trust the universe to believe that all is happening as it should, but to expect bumps along the way.
**if you would like to see the areas of your chart that this “triad of transformations” will highlight in the year 2026, book into a reading with me and we can go over it:)!
Mars moving into Leo— April 19th ++ Mars opposing Pluto concluding cycle
This is the transit I have been on the edge of my seat waiting for since it went retrograde into Cancer in January. Although it may seem like I am navigating these periods gracefully, I too fall into the pitfalls of the energy around us. Mars has been affecting my 4th house of the home — where my partner and I currently are chummed up with his father in a small apartment. And where I am eternally grateful for the hospitality and generosity he has astound upon us these past few months, I am also eager to get our own place so we have space to work on our creative projects again, assert our independence, and create our own loving home. This area of my chart has felt like a burning desire to move forward, with no supporting energy for it. I am already seeing this area of my life start to ease up—and feel a move on the horizon.
Mars first went into Cancer around September 2024, where it stayed until November—during the American election—where it first opposed Pluto (planet of destruction and rebirth) and moved into Leo. We then saw the changeover to a very “Mars in Leo personality” Donald Trump in the states. We also saw the rise of Pierre Poliviere in Canada throughout December—where the majority of the countries votes in the polls were voting for Pierre. When Leo went retrograde and back into Cancer, we saw the fall of our current prime minister of the time Justin Trudeau—and saw all the themes of Mars in Cancer play out ever since.
Mars in Cancer (as I have mentioned before) stands for arguments, intensity, fighting, and disharmony in the home (or homeland). Where mars wants to move forward with high intensity, Cancer wants to remain home and be close to creature comforts, and cling towards the past. Cancer is also a HIGHLY emotional sign—being the first water sign—it is learning to find security in their emotions. So Mars does not fare well in Cancer.. it is being held back and turned inward. It’s anger shows up as emotional volatility, passive aggressiveness, an overprotective and strong desire to protect the family (or citizens) at all cost. Have we not seen this over the past couple of months folks!? Throw the Venus retrograde in Aries that we had in the winter in there.. and we had the perfect storm of trade wars. Every country seems to have a strong divide, and we are seeing the re-emerging of patriotism (even though 4 years ago you were called a nazi for waving a Canadian flag..).
With Mars FINALLY moving into Leo—we are ALL feeling it and will be feeling it. Those projects or plans that you have been impatient and frustrating about not moving forward, will now shift with much more easy. Mars is the fire planet, and Leo is the fire sign. These two go together VERY well. However, we will also see a rise of narcissistic and big egos rise to the surface. Mars is all about the self and identity, and will do whatever it wants to get what it wants (even if it tramples over others to get there). Where Leo is all about the ego, the self, and dramatic performances. Likely we will see all the world leaders be big, bold, and yes dramatically narcissistic during this transit. We will also see this amongst each other. Where the positive will help those who are normally in their shell be more bold and confident, the negative will likely pull those who are already confident to being more hubris.
I have been writing a lot about the divide between the feminine and masculine since Mars first went into Leo last year. This final Mars in Leo transit happening before Saturn and Uranus both move into masculine signs (following Neptune and Pluto), is bringing the rise of the masculine. This is why I believe (and I could very much be wrong), that Pierre will win this election because of his masculine following. We are going into the realm of masculinity—being outward, building, extracting, and hardening. We are seeing a rise of global conflicts, of the world being on the verge of world war 3. There are positives and negatives in this (as there is with everything). The positive, we will have men back to being men—more men turning to trades, building back up our economy, fixing the structures that have been let go of or left to rot, and a “tough it up” attitude to being over-emotional (which will be good for coddling and victimization culture), and an end to the coffin of the “anti-men” culture. The negatives will also be the “tough it up” attitude for those who need empathy and softness, the environment being back on the back burner, and the downfall of “feminist” culture. I also feel art will take a huge change of direction. What was art over the past decade of being more feminine, emotional, and more sad style music, will turn big, bold, bright, dramatic, and bring more upbeat tempo’s to music. The libido of men will rise, and with Jupiter moving into Cancer this summer, I sense a HUGE baby AND housing boom.
I don’t find it suspicious at all that Mars will be opposite Pluto AGAIN during the Canadian election.. almost around 6 months after it’s opposition during the American election. This is why I called the last article “The Battle Between the Deep State Truly Begins”. Pluto represents the underworld, the hidden dark leaders, the crime world, the world we do not see (ex: child trafficking, drug cartels, military industrial complex money laundering). All these themes are coming to the surface when Pluto went into Aquarius, because Aquarius stands for truth, for the people, for humanity, NOT for global elites. Mars opposing it shows the fight against these dark forces. This is essentially the fights that are going on with world leaders and our ruling systems. Back to how I started this—with the dismantling of a corrupt system.
In our own lives, we will see this as a fight against anything that isn’t authentic. We are done with fake people, with scripts, with actors. There is a reason why podcast culture is on the rise, because it’s regular people, having unscripted regular conversations. We prefer to watch people as they are, to learn information, to hear other perspectives. And there is a reason why Hollywood is quickly going to go out of business—people no longer resonate with fake celebrity culture, or watching newscasters read off of teleprompters. Even Pierre’s following are getting irritated by his scripted one liners, and would rather he speaks from the heart and share what he thinks. I think this is why so many people are mesmerized by Donald Trump at the moment. Because love or hate him, he is always himself—unpredictable and authentic. There is truly nobody like him. People are beginning to cultivate this way of being into their own life and personalities.
Venus in Aries
With Venus back in Aries, relations will move back to arguments about trades, finances, relationships in general, and relationship to self care. These trade wars will be intense during this time. As Venus rules the finances and relationships and it being in Aries, the sign of war and conflict, we will see these themes emerge. This very much ties into what I will write below this about Uranus being in Taurus. Venus does not like being in Aries, because they are essentially opposites. Venus is for harmony, while Mars is for conflicts. Where it may bring passion to relationships that need it, it will more often than not, bring conflicts to your relationships with others. Watch this, because Mercury is also now in Aries.. so we are more likely to speak on impulse, start arguments, and boldly speak our truth. You will see more fights (even more than normal HAHA) spark up online, people will not hold back.. even your loved ones. Try not to say things that cannot end up being unsaid. Some of what comes out may be necessary, but some of it may be your own projections as well. Really channel this energy into your own projects, being bold and confident with launching your creative passions or businesses, making bold networks with other people to further your goals. Remember what I said above? Use this high intense energy productively, otherwise it will burn you and those around you up.
Uranus in Taurus
This is the last time Uranus will be in Taurus IN Taurus season before it moves into Gemini (but it will make one last dip when it goes retrograde into the sign and emerge out straight after Taurus season in 2026). This means it will be having a highlighting effect on what is has left to change before it leaves this sign. Uranus in Taurus has brought MANY changes to Taurus themes in our lives and in the world at large. Uranus—the planet of rebellion, the underdog revolutionary, global uprising, the visionary, the future, and technology. While being in Taurus, we have seen rebellions rise from farmers world wide, we had the farmer protests in Sri Lanka in 2021/2022, mass farmer protests all over Europe from Denmark to Britain, uprising of farmer protests within Canada, and I am sure there is more that I am not even aware of. It’s funny, because the “tractor” is meant to be representative of Taurus (because they are slow, a powerful force, and deal with the soil), and this is essentially how these farmers protested, in their tractors!
We have also seen the rebellion of the feminine. The “Me Too” movement, which really kicked off and started right before Uranus went into Taurus in 2017 with the Harvey Weinstein trials. Woman began to rise up and speak out against “predators” in the film and music industry, which then trickled down to everyday people. Which started out as possible true incidents, quickly turned into a witch hunt against men. Where I see the positive outcome of this being that men have become less derogatory in the work place and held to more standards, I also now see it had a boomerang effect with the rise of repressed, angry men. I remember when this all started, my sister and I having many conversations about how this will all backfire, and will eventually cause repressed anger from men against woman that will come back in a bad way. And what are we seeing today? ANGRY men, and I don’t blame some of them. Perfectly nice and normal men were conditioned to believe that they were all inherently sexist and a predator—and this is where a huge divide between sexes really started to take place. Where this did help woman who needed it, it also put men away for crimes they maybe did not commit. We then saw the Amber Heard and Johnny Depp trails take place around 2021—where we saw first hand the corruption of this movement and realized that not all woman are to be believed. Now, nearing the end of this transit, we have seen the Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni case being highlighted, showing again, that the woman isn’t always to be believed. This has actually caused reverse progress in the “believe woman movement”, because of the many fake cases that came out, it makes the real cases seem fake too (which is NOT good). Now with Uranus leaving Taurus, we are seeing the remaining pitfalls of the wild rebellion that took hold of woman—and will hopefully find more balance with this moving forward.
Where we saw the shadow side of females, we also saw the uprise in woman going back to their feminine roots (in an act of rebellion) (which is crazy that it should even be rebellious). Woman started being called more towards gardening, baking sourdough bread, trying to make having children cool again, talking out about wanting to be a housewife and a stay at home mother, and being back in the forest barefoot and connected to nature. Homesteads began to be the newest rebellion against the government, going back to the land and doing everything yourself while connecting to nature. #tradwife culture began to take off and became a movement of it’s own. This period truly shows the balance of opposites of the feminine—half the population wants independence and to be more like men by rebelling against men, where the other half rebel against other woman to go back to being in their feminine. Again, this should start to level out once Uranus moves out of Taurus (but it will dip back in when it goes retrograde to conclude a cycle).
Lastly, Uranus in Taurus saw swift changes made to our financial system. The rise of bitcoin and online banking/trading systems gained huge traction. Again, this stemmed from a way of rebellion against a corrupt and out-dated banking system. People were sick and tired of the banks getting richer and richer, while charging higher and higher banking fees and interest rates—which was causing us to get poorer and poorer. Our governments pushed credit cards on young, just out of high school teenagers who had no idea of financial and money management. Causing huge household debts that people are still paying off today. The smart ones (I wish that was me, but wasn’t), invested into Bitcoin as a way to not be tracked with their money and made huge investment returns. This is where every single astrologer agrees where our financial system is heading. It will be moving into an online digital currency—that either will be a better, free system, or an even more corrupt one (depending on who controls it). What many awake people are trying to push and advocate for is a financial system that is backed by gold, this way, there is something tangible to fall back on to prevent total control. The BRICS nations, which has been trying to overtake the American dollar, will be (or may even be now) an online digital currency, but they are backed by gold. This is probably why Donald Trump has been talking about trying to mine for gold and look for it in Fort Knox. Today, as I write this, there are news reports coming out about how gold prices have hit an all time high. So expect this month for there to be A LOT of news about the changing financial system. By the time Uranus moves into Gemini this summer, we will be full swing into building this new system concretely.
With Mercury moving into Taurus on May 11th—this is when we will see lots of conversations around the changing financial systems — likely on podcasts and news sources, so pay attention. One of my favourite astrologers “Astrologer Joe” has been speaking on this topic for years now—saying to spend a portion of your paycheques on junk gold and silver to build a safety net incase there is a financial crash. It’s seeming like this prediction is coming to fruition—and very much aligns with the astrology.
**CHANGES to New Moon + Full moon reports.
- I will be doing this a day before the new moon or full moon now. That way I have more information to work with before hand to bring better context to the situations we are seeing globally and in our personal lives. I also feel that this information gets lost in my very long monthly reports. So instead, I now will be highlighting certain planetary movements as I have talked about above.
Health and Wellness
Taurus rules the neck, throat, vocal chords, thyroid, and sensory organs. So it is common for there to be issues in these areas. As I mentioned above, Taurus is known for having a beautiful singing voice. So if it is used, clearly they need to take good care of their vocal chords with lots of hydration and warming teas!! It’s common for those who are Taurus or have heavy Taurus placements to deal with thyroid issues. Where Taurus can be known for being slow moving, stagnant, or even sometimes “lazy”, this can also stem from a disorder called “hypothyroidism”—where the thyroid is under producing and slowing down the metabolism. Taurus is also a sign prone to weight gain—which is partially due to their shadow side of “over-consuming” or “over-eating”, but again is another symptom of low thyroid function. To support the thyroid gland, make sure to be getting sufficient amounts of selenium, zinc, and naturally occurring iodine (like seaweeds). Oysters are my favourite recommendation for thyroid disorders, as it contains high amounts of all of those—and contain high amounts of omega 3 fatty acids which together help support hormonal regulation. However zinc can also be found in high amounts in pumpkin seeds, but also leafy greens. Selenium can be found in high amounts in Brazil nuts (but limit yourself to 2 a day as too much Brazilian nuts are not good for you). Movement is also key for Taurus, as I mentioned they can be prone to stagnation. This isn’t the sign I recommend high cardio workouts for, but rather, slow and meditative movements like Thai chi, yoga, Qigong, long walks in nature, or working in the garden. All of those engage all the senses (something Taurus craves), while providing slow and purposeful movement where they can feel grounded and connected to the Earth. To tune into Taurus energy, try to engage all your 5 senses every day.. cooking with aromatic spices or herbs, playing music while you cook or garden, making things pretty around you (like decorating your home or curating cute outfits), eating delicious food, and doing body care on your skin with healing body oils. After a month of intense Aries energy (and that energy carrying forward with so many Aries transit placements), anything to calm down and engage the system, to slow down, to be present in the moment. Anything nature related will be highly nourishing to your nervous system this month.
Herbs:
- Bladderwack — a great herb to support thyroid function and providing high amounts of natural sourced iodine
- Valerian — one of my favourite feminine herbs. It’s incredibly supportive to the nervous system as a “nerve tonic” Provides many nutrients to repair a depleted system, supports liver function preventing liver stagnation, increases appetite for those who have low appetite (due to thyroid or liver dysfunction), and brings someone back into their feminine. My teachers always describe this herb as being perfect for the “Type A” personality.
- ROSE — the ultimate female choice. Working with rose petals, either in a scent form, loose in some tea, or tincture/syrup. Rose softens and protects the heart space and helping to sooth any scars or wounds from previous traumas and creates strength to open the heart back up to love. With so much Aries energy this month from all the transiting planets, rose could be a good ally to use to avoid going into conflict mode with your relationships. If your relationships get heated, use rose with your partner or friends as a way to create connection again.
- Ashwagandha — for those who deal with low thyroid, Ashwagandha is a thyroid stimulator. It also helps to nourish and bring balance back to the hormonal, nervous system, and immune system after high stress states. It is indicated for people experiencing high levels of cortisol—which is causing dysregulation to their hormones or thyroid health. It is also high in iron and can support iron deficiency. It is also known to boost fertility and act as an aphrodisiac — which is very inline with Taurus season.
- Sage — Sage is an incredibly feminine plant. In fact, it is estrogenic in nature. It is commonly used for those experiencing hot flashes in peri menopause or menopause as it reduces sweating. It is a great ally for singers, as it supports throat health (you commonly see it in throat sprays), and can reduce sweating (if your a nervous performer), and support the nervous system as a whole. However, it is VERY drying, so I recommend using moist herbs alongside it like Marshmallow root (or leaf), Slippery Elm, or Licorice Root.
If you are still here reading, THANKS! Another long article for you to sift through throughout the month of Taurus season.
