We Need the Lessons of Saturn

Many misconceptions. Fear instilled to the minds of the young. What happened to honouring the elder, the wise, or the guider? You've been lost, culture, since you stopped listening to us. There comes a time in life when one must take responsibility. To live for yourself, is a betrayal of the others. Long ago, I instilled the wisdom upon your plane "As above so below, as within so without", balance between the good & bad, light & dark, others & the self. I am the old god, the crone, the grandfather, and most important the truth teller. You have all become frightened of the truth, as to be frightened of the truth is the be frightened of the unconscious becoming conscious. Because once you're aware of the unconscious, you have a dutiful responsibility to your ancestors and the society around you to take action on it. Coddling is not love, coddling is another form of prison. My stern lesson is to provide inner strength, discipline and wisdom to carry out what your ancestors could not. Those disconnected from me will feel my return the most. Those who misbehave will get their karma, and it's all a lesson to come back to balance with the universe. I will remain to be a reminder that you are not alone in this universe. I am the old god, the crone, the grandfather, and most importantly—the truth teller.
Saturn reminds me of the responsibility we all need to take in ourselves to perform the tasks we are meant to do here on Earth. Whether that means containing our energy or releasing more energy, bringing life into this world or saying goodbye to someone dearly loved. Whatever is out of balance in our world, Saturn is here to bring it back. If you have swung too far on the pendulum, gravity will pull you sternly the other way...back and forth until you remain center and sure of what you’re here to do. Doing personal work with the Pine tree, I have learned that the Pine holds Saturn's wisdom. Pines grow tall (and remain vibrant in cold, dry winter), and as they grow tall they allow their lower branches to fall off in order to think about the growth rather than the past. They are a-part of the species that were the first among earth to reproduce by seed. They felt confident and bold enough to allow their seeds of their essence to be exposed to the world. Teaching us that through structure, discipline, and letting go; you can grow and evolve—and transform into Jupiter.
