Dong Quai Root

Price range: $11.00 through $30.00

Description

Angelica sinensis (Dong Quai)

One of my favourite go to root herbs!!! This is my favourite for blood building for individuals (especially woman) who are depleted in their iron levels and overall nutrients. High in minerals like iron, it helps to rebuild someone back up from a depleted state. It is also a great circulatory and cardiovascular tonic for those who tend towards being colder or have cold hands and feet. It has liver healing benefits for those with liver damage. It is also a hormonal balancer! Helping to bring your hormones back into balance while also supporting the liver process any excess hormones. It is so powerful in blood building, that it is recommended in not being taken a few days before and into your monthly cycle as it can severely increase the blood flow — leading to a very heavy period. If you are someone who leans towards constipation due to excess bodily dryness, dong quai is great at moistening the bowels and creating a gentle laxative effect.
