French Lavender (Lavandin)
Ahhh the scent of french lavender takes me back to the Provence region in southern France! There was a town my sister and I stayed at called “Moustiers Sainte Marie” which was a mountain community that had lavender growing surrounding it in the valley. Whole town just smelled of this beautiful flower.
Used commonly in perfumes or creams/oils/ointments/sachets, it is a topical herb rather than internal. This is because it contains Camphor, which is potentially toxic to the central nervous system and liver if taken internally. Camphor is high in the essential oil and in a tea or tincture will still have trace amounts that could cause damage over time.
I use this lavender in my “Love Potion” body oil.
Crafted with high-quality herbs, sourced from certified organic suppliers.
